Jogersö Summerhouses, 2023
Recently completed project in east Sweden with two wooden siblings looking out over the Baltic Sea. The refined pine and brick details on the south-west facade contrasts with the more robust and simple expression towards the forest and neighbours. Large fixed windows are combined with openable opaque shutters to reduce the number of fragile movable elements facing the heavy wind from the sea. The fireplace faces the west facade which means that you can have the fire and the sea in the same view. The brick volume is places in between the two floor levels that divide the livingromm space from the kitchen and dining.
